From Victoria, British Columbia to St. John’s Newfoundland and north far beyond the Arctic Circle, the tradition continues. We stand proud of our heritage and the fact that among the global firearms community we are different. Being a rifleman in Canada is not the same as being merely a gun owner. It is an honour, a privilege and a tradition, one that helped pioneer this great land. From the early days of trading firearms with the indigenous people during the fur trade, and of settlers hunting to feed their families, to beating back the Americans in the war of 1812, and onward we endure to the present day.
We are a community of regular people. We come from all walks of life, from attorneys, bankers and insurance brokers to truck drivers, farmers.
